One typical sunny Adelaide summers' day, 27 December 2010 to be precise, DC packed up his belongings, said goodbye to family and friends and headed to the airport en-route to London. If this is where DC's story left you then read on for the next chapters-->

Pebbles are only so much fun
First stop was the sea side party town of Brighton, it was not so party like on a Monday morning in the middle of winter though. Found a park, got lost, asked for directions, found King Edwards's Royal Party Palace, but it was closed for renovations. So we went for a walk through the famous 'lanes' shops, half of them were closed too. This was followed by a walk down to the Brighton beach for some photos on the pebbles; I'd never been to a pebble beach before. After the excitement of the pebbles, which soon passed, we made our way up to the pier with the fair ground on it, it was pretty tacky I must admit and there was not much action happening there either. Upon realising a common theme, we decided it was time to depart for the next place, Arundel. Arundel was a nice little town with a fantastic castle on the hill, however it too was closed until Easter. It was then off to Chichester, the home of crumpets according to Lonely Planet. In our one hour search of this little town we couldn’t find any crumpets and decided to call it a day and drive to our final destination, Winchester.
