Hostel life part 2
The next phase of hostel life was now something that was no longer new to DC, it had been done before. This time round, not quite as much fun and a need for an earlier escape was needed. A plan was hatched and a template was created to mass respond to house mate wanted ads. The results…

DC's b'day
DC's bday was a very different affair to the norm, being overseas and without any family members.
It was also different in the fact that celebrations were had on three occasions. As his birthday was technically in Australia, this meant meeting a few friends the night before for a celebratory drink as well as meeting a few friends the night of for a dinner and drink, plus the pre-planned weekend party. The actual day (excluding dinner), well that was a little lack-lustre, although it was much improved by the fact that DC picked up a parcel from his parents that day, a parcel with presents. Opening them may have induced some minute amount of liquid to quell in the corner of one eye. The day did end without cake, a very unusual affair, however this was rectified on Saturday by a couple of very nice new friends.
