What do Notting Hill, St Albans Cathedral and Jimmy Barnes have in common?

For the last week, me! Went for a marathon walk from Trafalgar Square through the city to Notting Hill. Stopped for a well –deserved rest at the historic and flower-covered Churchill Arms (photo of the month), followed by a night time stroll home. A day sight-seeing in ancient St Albans with its Roman remains, and the highest pub per capita ratio in the UK. Next was an epic night out to see Aussie legend Jimmy Barnes, even though I only knew two songs, it felt like I knew them all. And what do you get when you cross such things with wearing thongs (that’s flip flops in the local lingo)? A busted foot muscle!
