One typical sunny Adelaide summers' day, 27 December 2010 to be precise, DC packed up his belongings, said goodbye to family and friends and headed to the airport en-route to London. If this is where DC's story left you then read on for the next chapters-->

Salzburg
It was hello Austria and hello again to the white stuff. Salzburg was an amazing little town. It was also the mid point of the tour. Not experienced enough to combat blue and black run ski slopes and not wanting to go on a Sound of Music tour, couldn’t think of anything worse to be honest, this meant some peaceful exploring with a couple of others. We endeavored on a Salzburg attraction pass and headed for the Utzenberg cable car up the mountain. Utzenberg was not quite as high as Jung Frou, about half the size actually, but the views were just as if not more spectacular and it was only about 10% the cost of Jung Frou. Somehow I couldn’t help but feel Topdeck was responsible for pushing the expensive Swiss adventure and ignoring this bargain basement Austrian one. Leaving my snow angel and glorious memories atop the mountain it was back down again and over to Mozart’s house. This was somewhat disappointing after the mountain and the others decided to call it a day there. Knowing that I probably wouldn’t be back I pushed on and continued by myself for what was the most peaceful two hours of the trip.
