Florence
After a pit stop at the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Florence was next, and it was fantastic. It was a fantastic place where you could leisurely roam the streets on foot, taking in the all the sights, shopping for leather goods and indulging in the fantastic local affair of pizza, pasta and gelato. And being a Topdeck tour full of 20 to 30 year olds you could do all this with a nice constant thumping in your head as a memory of the night before. A visit to the Statue of David was a must for me, as was buying a few David souvenirs.
